Last weekend I went to a very quick out of town trip with friends and family – we stayed over night (staycation) at Camiguin Island, Philippines. This sea,sun and sand experience was hours before heading back home and definitely the highlight of our trip.
From mainland we crossed the sea for almost 10 minutes by boat just to reach this famous “white islet”. I was amazed with the powdery sand the moment I set my foot on.The clear water is very inviting, you won’t leave without taking a dip into it ( you can see that in my photos). The water is beyond compare, everything here is just perfect – PARADISE tho. It is entirely a sandbar, definitely, you won’t find any shade because there is no tree, even a single green plant on the surface -totally bare/naked. Every corner of the island is worth taking a photo. It would have been a lot of fun if Mr. Sun was up, up, up but too bad it was a rainy and windy morning, totally the weather was confused. We only stayed for an hour or two because I was totally scared crossing back to the mainland since waves were quite high. Good thing! We headed back home safe.
I would love to go back maybe after a year or two.
FYI : I don’t know how to swim but it won’t stop me from basking and dipping into the sea water.
